Affiliate Disclosure
Short version: some links on this site earn us a commission. It never changes what you pay, and it never decides what we recommend.
As an Amazon Associate, demonteMAG earns from qualifying purchases.
Which programs we are in
Amazon Associates, and only Amazon Associates. We are not in any other affiliate network, we do not run paid placements in articles, and no brand pays us to be included in a piece. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
What an affiliate link costs you
Nothing. The price is identical whether you use our link or type the product name into Amazon yourself. Amazon pays the commission out of its own margin.
How we choose what to recommend
Recommendations are picked after an article is written, not before, so the argument is never bent toward something we can sell. The test is whether we would recommend the same thing to a friend who was not going to buy anything.
- We never link something an article argues against.
- We link Amazon search results rather than single product pages, so a listing going out of stock does not leave you on a dead page.
- Where a topic has nothing genuinely worth buying, there are no links on it. A stretched recommendation costs more trust than the commission is worth.
- We have not been paid, sampled, or briefed by any brand mentioned. We buy what we use, like everyone else.
How you can tell
Affiliate links only ever appear inside the labelled Recommended Resources box at the end of an article, never woven into the body text. Each link carries a merchant tag, opens in a new tab, and is marked sponsored and nofollow so search engines treat it correctly.
Questions
If something on this page is unclear, or you think a recommendation is wrong, tell us, we would rather fix it than keep the commission. Reply to any issue of the newsletter and it reaches us directly.
